Every bend has a view. I'm in serious danger of making no progress at all. It's so tempting to stop every few hundred metres! Views like this are everywhere.

I too stopped in this lay-by GD, on my way North, overlooking Loch Carren! I sat in the evening sunshine, listening to my MP3 player for an hour before going on to the village of Lochcarren & then over the Bealach na Ba to Applecross and then north along the coast to Fearnmore. I based myself there fore a few days in a cottage overlooking the sea which was kindly lent to me by a friend. As you know it was a little short lived as I came to grief 3 days later just a few miles down the road from where you photo is taken from. Fortunately it wasn't before I'd made a couple of good ride outs, 1 being up the west coast & then across to John O'Groats and down to Inverness where I was forced to stop for tyres! That's the best day on this route though so I'm very jealous of you at the mo!

wow! How weird is that! I loved the road to Applecross and then the coast road North. That was one of my favourite stretches of riding. Small world mate!
